Effect of an Electromagnetic Trainer on Gait and Balance Recovery After Stroke
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of an Electromagnetic Trainer in Restoring Gait and Balance in Patients After Cerebral Stroke
Source: ClinicalTrials.gov · Last updated 27 Oct 2026
Brief summary (registry, in English)
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an electromagnetic trainer in improving lower limb motor function, gait, and balance in patients after cerebral stroke. The study will include 80 adult patients with a first-ever cerebral stroke who are undergoing medical rehabilitation. Participants will be randomly allocated to two parallel groups. The control group will receive standard medical rehabilitation, while the intervention group will receive standard rehabilitation combined with motor training using an electromagnetic trainer. Clinical and functional assessments will include neurological status, functional independence, gait and balance, lower limb motor function, muscle tone, range of motion, and psycho-emotional status. The study is expected to determine whether the addition of electromagnetic motor training provides greater improvement in functional outcomes compared with standard rehabilitation alone.
