Head and Neck Cancer Strategies

Strategies for Individualized Management of Head and Neck Cancer

Source: ClinicalTrials.gov · Last updated 2 Nov 2026

Brief summary (registry, in English)

The overall aim is to investigate whether genetic and other molecular markers can improve the diagnosis, assessment of treatment response, and detection of recurrence in patients with head and neck cancer. In the longer term, the project aims to contribute to more individualised treatment strategies for our patients. The project will involve comprehensive analyses of tumour tissue and blood, including extensive genetic sequencing and other molecular profiling. Importantly, the research analyses will not have any implications for the clinical management or treatment of the individual patient included in the study.
