Who runs this site
Frontlight Research is operated by New Horizon Platforms Kft.
Using the site
Frontlight Research shows information about clinical trials and medical research taken from public registries and publications. It is not medical advice. Talk to your doctor or the study team before you act on anything you read here.
What the site collects today
- Server logs. Our servers keep a technical record of each request (such as the IP address, the time, the page asked for and the browser type) to run the site and keep it secure.
- No analytics and no trackers. The site uses no analytics, advertising or social media tools. We only count page views per kind of page (for example "a disease page, in English"), with no cookie, no IP address and nothing that identifies you.
- No cookies beyond strictly necessary ones. Browsing the site sets no cookie; only signing in does (see "Cookies" below).
- No newsletter and no contact form yet. The only forms are account sign-up and sign-in, and "Report an error" on data pages, which sends only your message and the page it came from (no name, no e-mail address).
- Accounts. If you create an account, we store the details you enter (e-mail address, name, and whether you are a patient or a professional) and your password in hashed form, only to run your account.
- Your location. "Use my location" works in your browser only: your position is used on the page to sort results by distance and is not sent to us.
